Meet the Team at Al Gulum, DDS

Mrs. Michele Renee Spencer

Office Manager

I was born in Brooklyn New York but relocated in 1985 to South Boston Massachusetts.  I started my dental career in 1989 at Tufts Dental School.  While working with the dental students I learned that your oral health care is key to healthy living.  I then wanted to learn more about dentistry so I went to work in a private practice where I would have more hands on interactions with patients.  When I started working in a private office I found my passion for this job;  Dental Insurance Billing.  I love what I do!  Everyday you learn something new with Insurance companies and I love a challenge.  I relocated back to my hometown in 2014.

I have three daughters and one son, and two beautiful granddaughters.  I have two dogs Miley and Max.  All my time is spent with my beautiful family.

Mrs. Kattia Blanco

Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Kattia Blanco.  I am a mother, wife and proud Registered Dental Hygienist.  I graduated from Hostos Community College, where I currently tutor my future colleagues.  I choose a career in dental hygiene to promote oral and overall health which go hand in hand.  Our mouth is a reflection of the state of health the body is in.

Patient focused care is what I strive to do.  I believe that each patient should be treated with the utmost respect, quality and dedication.  My goal is to help you prevent future diseases and educate you on the importance of good oral habits for a better and healthier life.

My plans for the near future are to continuously learn and work hard.  I would like to return to school in the spring of 2018, to continue mu studies and earn my bachelors degree.  I believe that improving my life will enable me to better the lives of those I care for.  My family is everything to me.  They are and always will be my strength and the engine that keeps me going everyday.
