Mrs. Nancy Galvet

Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Nancy Galvet, I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for twenty seven years, a total of thirty four years of experience in the dental field.  I obtained my Dental Hygiene Degree at New York City College of Technology.  I also have a degree in nutrition.

I have been employed by Dr, Gulum for ten years and most recently completed the course for my local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide license

Neighborhood practice for twenty seven years.  I graduated from Suny Stony Brook in 1984.  My general practice residency was at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

I am currently Head of Crown & Bridge Department , and  attending at Jamaica Hospital.  I am very active in the Queens County Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.  I am a member of the American Dental Association and The New York State Dental Association

I am dedicated to staying current through continuing education, staff training and up to date technology.

We are proud to offer metal-free crowns in one office visit with our state of the art Cerec machine.  Implants are place and then restored with Cerec crowns.  Our porcelain veneers are custom-made, hand-crafted and oven fired for exquisite esthetics.

Married to my wife for thirty three years, with one daughter and one son.  Both of whom are teachers.

Ms. Rita Gocool

Dental Assistant

I have twenty one years of experience as a dental assistant.  I have been with Dr. Gulum since 2005.  I have my Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Queens Borough Community College.  I also attended St. Gerard Community College in Georgia and obtained my LPN license.

Working with Dr. Gulum all these years has been a beautiful experience.  My education and experience  flows well in this practice as an individual and for the care of our patients.
